If you are unfamiliar with the area, VFA-25 is located on the Operations side of Naval Air Station Lemoore in Hangar 2, MOD 2. NAS Lemoore is situated in the middle of California's San Joaquin Valley, a vast agricultural area in the center of the state. The surrounding community is made up of several small towns of which Lemoore and Hanford are the closest. Although the area is sparsely populated, the towns and their people are friendly and very accommodating to Navy personnel. The cities of Fresno and Visalia are each thirty minutes by auto.
